Edgar Ray was known for giving his children nicknames, and in fact he called them by these names: Turtle, Killdee, OinkOink, Connie Coon and Bobcat every single day, and he did the same for his grandkids. He also called his wife Johnnie by the name of Wild Bill throughout their lives. Edgar Ray was the bond that kept the family together, and loved his dogs as well. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, December 12th at the Crystal Springs Cemetery for family members only at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to any pet shelter.
